'Plants with a Story' - Samantha Hopes

Discover the fascinating stories behind 25 remarkable plants—from their origins and

unique pollination methods to folklore and old wives’ tales. A captivating collection that’s sure to intrigue and inspire.

Samantha  studied at Birmingham Botanical Gardens and Pershore College, later training at RHS Garden Wisley with a focus on Rock and Alpine plants, and gaining experience at Kew and Great Dixter. After graduating, she worked with John Massey at Ashwood Nurseries, developing a passion for Hepaticas, alpines, and breeding Roscoea. 

​Visitors are always welcome, come and join us and bring a friend - just £5 on the door for entry and refreshments.

Raffle There is always a raffle. Please bring along your raffle money - or even a prize for the table.

Doors will be open from 7.15pm with Samantha's talk starting at 7.45pm.
