Summer Catch Up

Following a busy summer with visits to fabulous gardens which included heavy rain on our June outing! Luckily we were dry on the coach travelling between Broughton Grange and Whichford Pottery, August is a quieter month on the Club's calendar. However, with such a hot dry summer there may be fewer vegetables and fruit to exhibit but there may still be just about time to plant some radish seeds or make a few jars of jam or chutney for our annual village show. Sunflower Competition: All Sunflower Growers are very welcome and now encouraged to bring their plants/heads to the village hall so that they can be exhibited. If you prefer to submit a photo we will accept this as per the show schedule.
