The Restoration of the Walled Garden Worcester. - Will Scott

Close to Worcester City centre this half-acre 19th-century walled kitchen garden was revived in 1995 after years of neglect. Once overrun with brambles and weeds, it now features fruit trees, vegetable beds, herb gardens, and a formal pond, all laid out using an 1886 map. Hidden within are the remains of a Victorian vinery and an old observatory. The garden includes camellia walks, bee areas, compost heaps, and seating with varied views. It’s chemical-free and has featured on BBC shows and in gardening magazines, it blends history, horticulture, and heritage.
