The Dodford Sunflower Challenge

We’re thrilled to announce that The Dodford Sunflower Challenge is part of this year’s Dodford Show!

Think your sunflower can reach for the sky?  There are prizes for both the tallest sunflower and the largest sunflower head so get growing and join the fun!

If you haven’t planted one yet, don’t worry — you can pick up your sunflower plant at the Dodford Village Fete on Sunday 5th July.

Each plant costs £2, which includes entry to the show. Hurry — numbers are limited and it’s first come, first served!

We’re excited to welcome plenty of beautiful plants from our wonderful members for this year’s plant stall. If you’ve been growing something special, you can drop your plants off directly at the stall on Fete Day or contact Penny to arrange an alternative drop‑off.

However, if your green‑fingered plans didn’t quite work out this year, don’t worry — come along anyway and say hello. You might just spot a plant or two that you won’t be able to resist!

Members Social Evening - Monday 13th July from 6.30pm

Join us for a relaxed summer evening in the garden!

We invite all members and their partners to the July meeting, hosted by Cath Swift in her beautiful garden in Bromsgrove.

Come along to enjoy a leisurely stroll among the flowers, a glass of wine in hand, and the warm company of friends - both old and new. It promises to be a lovely evening in a truly wonderful setting.
