There is no meeting in August. The next time we will get together will be at The Dodford Show on Saturday 7th September. This year has been more of a typical English summer weather wise, hopefully members are still weeding and nurturing their prize winning fruit, vegetables or flowers. Don’t forget on rainy days when it is too wet to garden get out the jam pan or bake a cake so that you can enter a WI class as well, the more entries the better the competition!
Please let family, friends and neighbours know that they too can enter the show. It is open to all and although the classes are competitive it is fun to just ‘have a go.’
