 'My Very Succulent Story' - Howard Drury    

Howards love of succulents began in childhood with a few cacti in the family greenhouse. Over the years, this passion has blossomed into a vast collection housed in several greenhouses, and a global network of fellow enthusiasts.

In this lively talk, Howard will share stories from visits to places like the Minack Theatre and Surreal Succulents in Cornwall. We will learn of new plants and breeding techniques along with practical tips and why succulents are so popular and surprisingly easy to care for.

A selection of rare but easy-to-grow succulents will hopefully be available for sale at this event.

Annual Subscriptions - We’ll be collecting the annual subscriptions of £15 at this meeting. You can pay at the meeting by card, cheque, cash or bank transfer —whatever suits you best.

Visitors are always welcome so bring a friend - just £3 on the door for entry and refreshments.

Raffle Reminder. Please bring along your raffle money - or even a prize for the table.

Doors will be open from 7.15pm with the talk starting at 7.45pm.
