The indoor Autumn programme of speakers was due to start last month, however, with the rule of 6 covid-19 measures this has been put on hold.
November is the month to plant Solent White Garlic. Members who received garlic cloves last year from the club can use bulbs that were harvested in June/July to plant for next years crop. Just divide the bulbs and plant the individual cloves either into pots or into the ground around the 23rd November in our area. If any member would like to have a go at growing garlic this year and didn’t take advantage of the free cloves last year contact Penny.
