RHS Garden Bridgewater
This is the last of our indoor meetings due to Easter Monday and The Coronation Bank Holiday Monday falling our our usual meeting nights. Not only will it be our last indoor meeting but before the speaker starts we will hold an Extraordinary General Meeting, to allow a 'reshuffle' of some of the current committee members and the appointment of a new Treasurer. Following our plea for help at the AGM in May Di Nicolson has very kindly stepped up and offered to take over the role of Treasurer.
'Wildlife the Environment and Organic Gardening’- Simon Gulliver
Simon will come along and give us all the information we need on how to create a beautiful wildlife friendly plot. He will cover pest control, beneficial insects as well as wildlife.
Simon is a Gardens and Parks Consultant for the National Trust, responsible for advising on the development of over 30 historic gardens in Lancashire, Cheshire and West Midlands.

A south-west facing garden with gently sloping lawns and views over Bulmer's Cider Orchards. There are mixed and woodland borders, shade and plenty of seating. The garden is noted for its quirky and humorous character, along with the odd surprise. Not only does it include a Shed of the Year Runner Up 2017 but was shortlisted in the English Garden Magazine's 'The Nation's Favourite Garden' and featured in the December Edition.
