This years programme is quite varied and will hopefully appeal to members and visitors. Our indoor meetings are held in Dodford Village Hall, Priory Road, Dodford B61 9DD and open at 7.30pm with the talk or demonstration starting at 7.45pm. Complimentary tea or coffee and biscuits are available after the talk. The annual membership remains at £15.00 and visitors pay £3.00 per meeting.It is possible to become a member at any time of the year and the subscription fee is then calculated on a pro-rata basis.
A Summer Social Evening is organised in a member’s garden and there is always at least one group visit to a fairly local unknown garden.
September is when members and non members can exhibit their homegrown or home made produce in our Village Show. The Show Schedule is available on the website or telephone Penny on 07706 153618 for further information.

The Dodford Show
This is a competitive show with many classes for amateur growers, bakers, preservers and crafters. It is open to members and non members from the local area. There are cups to be won by members of the gardening club and WI and non- members can equally have a go to win a coloured card with a couple of classes having prize money! There will be teas and home made cakes available, a raffle and plant sale. Conservation at Ruskin Land
Sally Pendergast and Kate Quinton from the Wyre Forest Community Land Trust will come and give an insight into Ruskin Land, a piece of the Wyre Forest that was given to John Ruskin in the 1870’s. They will explain how and why the land Trust wants to put the Wyre Forest landscape back to work and create a sustainable future.

Growing Orchids in the Garden
Dr Wilson Wall from Bewdley Orchids will share his knowledge of native orchids and how to introduce them into lawns, meadows and flower beds. Plants for Sale
